Specification of a School house to be erected a Brownsville, Texas -

The building to be erected of Brick manufactured here 32 feet deep by 52 feet long, outside measurement to be one story in height -

Foundation - The foundation to be 3 brick at the base 18 inches below the surface of the ground, to back off to 13 inches at bottom of floor joists - every other course to be headers - All joints in foundation to be pushed - others to be full and neatly struck on outside and inside of building.

Mortar - The mortar to be 1/4 cement and 3/4 Lime in foundation - above foundation enough cement to give a good bond - all material to be of the best quality.

Bricks - All Brick used in the construction of the building to be well wet before they are laid -

Walls - Walls to be 15 inches thick - Plastered inside - brown finish.
