Closets. to be under the stairs on each side on the lower floor, by the side doors, and over the stairs on the upper floor on each side: with suitable doors, and locks.

Stairs.    to be of best quality yellow pine. tread pine of 1 1/2 inch stuff, risers 8 inch of 1 inch stuff to be tongued into the steps.
Stairs to begin 1 foot on each side of the middle door of the front partition, to be three (3) feet wide, ascending 11 steps to a platform 3 ft - 9 in deep, 3 ft wide, then turning squares rise to second floor.
An entrance to be made right and left, immediately at the front door, to pass under the stairs into the main room by side doors as shown in plan; making a vestibule [[strikethrough]] eight (8) [[/strikethrough]] Five 5 feet wide between the front wall and the side of the stairs at the foot of the steps, extending the width of the building.
