Specification for a School House to be erected at Wallaceville, Chambers County, Texas.

Dimensions  Said School house to be 20 x 30 feet, 14 feet between joists in clear.

Foundation  To be placed on cedar blocks, good size, set two feet in the ground and to be 15 in number.

Sills  Side, center & end sills to be 6 x 6

Floor Joists  To be 2 x 8 and placed two feet apart
Ceiling Joists  To be 2 x 8 and placed two feet apart
Plates  To be 4 x 4

Rafters  To be 2 x 4 and two feet apart. The roof to be 1/3 pitch and covered with A. No. 1 Cypress Shingles.

Enclosure  To be of yellow pine boards 1 x 12 planed on outside (seasoned clean) placed perpendicularly & the joists neatly covered with strips also planed 1 x 3 inches.

Openings  There shall be three windows on each side and 2 on the back end, the sash to be 12 lights 12 x 18 in each, good quality of glass. The frame to be placed three feet from the floor. A large double door (front) 6 x 7 feet, two pannels to
