shall be made in a good substantial manner of hard rocks laid in mortar of best lime and Leona sand, the front wall between the Pilasters and the Lock of the front wall shall be hammer dressed; the Pilasters, window sills, and lintals, the architrave and archstones shall be of chisel dressed work. The Archstones over the front door, the lintels and window sills shall be of hard rocks from the Leona.

Now if said I. H. Kaumpmann shall well and truly perform said mason work for said school house in a workman[[strikethrough]]like[[/striekthrough]]ship like manner according to Plan as specifications, as above stated, the work to be commenced at once, and shall proceed in such manner with the carpenter's work that no interruption takes place, the [[strikethrough]] city [[/strikethrough]] Board of Education agrees to pay to said Kampmann the following prices for material and labor to wit: -
1 - For digging out the ground for the foundations and removing
