4. Glide slope will require relocation to reduce threshold crossing height following completion or runway extension. Capture Effect Glide Slope programmed for delivery September 1968 should it be required.

*1. The Category II program at Seattle-Tacoma is being reexamined by the Port of Seattle authorities in concert with the Air Transport Association. Information now available indicated that new Runway 16R will be programmed as the Category II runway.

United Air Lines representatives have given verbal concurrence in the designation of 16R; the ATA will present other airline companies positions to the Port of Seattle during the first week of November 1967. If 16R is selected, Category II operating minimums will be delayed until the Fall of 1969.

2. Pending decision on runway assignment further information on facility needs will be deferred.
