Category II authorization canceled January 27, 1968. Recommissioning date indefinite pending studies of corrective action to correct deficiency in glide path.
1. Glide path does not meet Category II criteria inside middle marker. Facility operating as Category I.
2. The effective candlepower of the Sylvania MIL Spec centerline lights is not providing the minimum 300 candlepower required for 1600 RVR day, 1200 RVR night.
3. Critical area markings have been completed.

Seattle-Tacoma, Washington

Runway 16L 
150 feet wide; 11,400 feet long; CPA Runway 16L

Estimated commissioning indefinite
1. Port of Seattle authorities have concurred in the recommendation of ATA and other interested parties that new Runway 16R be designated as the Seattle-Tacoma Category II runway. The Airport Manager has submitted a revised Airport Layout Plan to the Seattle Area Manager. The Seattle Area Office is reviewing the new plan and a decision as to which runway will be designated should be available shortly.
2. Pending decision on runway assignment, further information on facility needs will be deferred.

CENTRAL

Chicago-O'Hare, Illinois

Runway 14L
150 feet wide; 10,000 feet long; CPA Runway 14R

Commissioned December 6, 1967, for 1200 RVR day and night
1. F&E continuous power project engineering will start Spring 1968. Project completion, due to Washington equipment delivery, will be during 1968 construction season. 
2. Continuous power project for owner facilities meet continuous power configuration "B". No estimated date available for updating to configuration "A". 
*3. Estimated installation of critical area lighted hold signs is 3/8/68.
