1. The Rollout RVR computer and associated equipment scheduled for delivery during June 1968; estimated commissioning July 1968.

*2. Inner marked commissioned February 12, 1968.

*3. F&E continuous power project scheduled for completion during May 1969. Delay due to delivery of engine generator by-pass switch.

*4. Continuous power project for owner facilities is scheduled for completion April 15, 1968.

*5. Critical area markings have been completed in accordance with Notice 5340.9. Waiver issued by FS-700 authorizing Category II operations without lighted signs pending their installation, which is estimated to be April 1, 1968.

Detroit, Michigan

Runway 3L
200 feet wide; 10,500 feet long; CPA Runway 3L

Estimated commissioning July 1968

*1. Centerline lights (L-850) and touchdown zone lights to be completed by July 1968.

*2. RVR - rollout end - will require modification to reduce the present 500-foot baseline to 250 feet. Delivery of modification kit estimated June 1968. Commissioning will be concurrent with Category II commissioning. 

3. V-ring localizer does not meet Category II requirements. Facility is classified as Category I; resolution of problem not yet determined.

*4. F&E continuous power project completed February 6, 1968. 

5. Continuous power project for owner facilities not yet programmed. No estimated completion date available. Funds for this work included in owners FY 1969 FAAP request for aid.
