*1. Progress on clearing of the approach slope to 50:1 has not been as anticipated. Completion is now expected in early March.

3. F&E continuous power project configuration "A" completed.
*4. Continuous power project for owner facilities presently utilizing two generators. A 75 KVA plant provides power to the touchdown zone, centerline, and high intensity runway lights on 9R. A 37.5 KVA plant provides standby power to taxiway and apron lighting. The 350 KW plant to serve both 9R and 9L runways simultaneously is now being tested by the distributor. Completion date of installation if [[is]] March 15, 1968.

1. Due to excessive gradient on the approach end of Runway 6, the State is considering means of providing Category II operation, which tentatively includes the construction of a new runway. Because of the uncertainty as to the future role of Runway 6, the Region has (1) deferred action on approved F&E projects (inner marker and second RVR), and (2) withheld action on a proposal for the installation of in-runway lighting on Runway 6. 
2. The Region advises Runway 6 satisfactory for training operations; however, satisfactory data is required on ILS system prior to designation as a training facility. 
3. Inner marker equipment shipped to the Depot.
