Lumberton N.C. Aug 25: /65.
This indenture made and entered into this Aug. 25 1865 between John B. Thompson of the one part and Rals Thompson and Seaser Thompson & March Thompson Freedmen. All of Said Co. and State of the other part Witneseth that for and in consideration of Five Bushels of corn and 1 cut of Pork each to be paid by the Said John B. Thompson to each of the above named parties - and the Said parties are to Serve the Said John B. Thompson as faithfully and truly as they have done heretofore. Witness our hands- the usual amount of food clothing &c to be furnished Also medical attention.
