Office of Bureau of Refuges Freedmen and abandoned lands for Robeson Co, Lumberton Aug 28th, 1865

This Indenture made and entered into this 28th day of August 1865 Between John Jenkins (Planter) of Robeson Co of the one part & Willis. Moses. Arch. & Judy Jenkins. Freed men & Women of the above county Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the said John Jenkins paying to the above mentioned freedmen & women [[strikethrough]] at [[/strikethrough]] the following rats to. Willis five hogs, 10 Bushels of Potatoes [[strikethrough]] & [[/strikethrough]] he leaves immediately to Moses 12 Bushels of corn & leave immediately Archy 2 Hogs 5 Bushels of corn & 10 Bushels of Potatoes and Leave immediately to Judy [[strikethrough]] withe [[/strikethrough]] her victuals & cloths for herself & children withe Regular medical attendance & 4 bushels corn 50 lbs of Pork & [[strikethrough]] 10 [[/strikethrough]]6 Bushels of Potatoes for the labor of her boy Henry, and the said Judy and her children including her son Henry agree to give faithful and efficient service until Christmas next also Rachel the daughter of the above on the same terms receives three Bush and a half[[strikethrough]] at [[/strikethrough]] of corn
