Lumberton Robeson Co

This agreement made and entered into day and date above mentioned between Charles Ivey Planter of Robeson Co. of the one part and Isaac Ivey Toney Ivey John Ivey and Alex Ivey Colored Freedmen of said Co. of the other part, witnesseth that the said Chas Ivey agrees to give the following compensation  to each of the above freed in the year 1865- to Isaac his growing crop sewn on the plantation and food clothing shoes and medical attend with his two hogs, Toney 12 bushels corn with food clothing shoes and Medical attendance for himself and family to John 12 bushels corn, his own crop and food clothing shoes and Medical attendance for himself and family to Alex his food clothing shoes and Medical attendance for himself and family the above to be infull if all demands by each freedman to date. And the said freedmen on their part respectively bind and oblige themselves each for himself and his family to give true and faithful service obeying all the lawful commands of said Chas Ivey with the same alacrity and respect which they were
