As to the tapestry - it is really a tapestry, not a rug - I can give you the following details, viz: "One gobelin 765 x 470 cm. Round central field with music ornaments yellowish brown, surrounded by garland, in natural colours. Outside the central field great acanthus, swand and flowers on reddish-brown ground. Border with empire ornaments in yellowish brown on green ground. Aubusson.
