Attention of Miss Houck

Dear Miss Houck:

Pursuant to our conversation yesterday, I am sending you herewith a few miscellaneous photographs of pictures which will be included in our forthcoming Picasso Exhibition, November 2nd - 26th. I am also enclosing a partial list of lenders for your information.

"The Acrobats' Meal" is a picture which we have recently acquired from a Swiss Collection and will be amongst the group of pictures coming from Europe. It is a very lovely piece and I think it will reproduce well. Furthermore, it is an unusual subject as distinct from Picasso's portraits. The picture, "The Woman in White" is exceptionally fine in quality and if you use it, I think it will reproduce very well as the photograph is very clear and sharp. And then of course, "The Blue Boy" which is very similar to the photograph I showed you yesterday of the picture which is coming from the Worcester Art Museum, is likewise very beautiful and sensitive in its feeling. I do hope that you will be able to use one or two of the group and I should appreciate your returning to me any photographs that you do not use as these represent important documents to us, which are difficult to replace.

If there is any further information that you should want in addition to what I told you yesterday, please do not fail to call on me as I shall by only too glad to help you in any way.

With many thanks in advance for your kindness and your generous cooperation which I do so appreciate, I am

Yours very sincerely,

(Robert M. Levy)

P.S. If you could get these in the November issue of "Spur" it really would be wonderful as this number would coincide with the dates of the exhibition. Thank you!
