Colonel Hanks.

You gave me permission to have church in the school house. The school master do not want us to have church in the house, he says that we have no right to interfere with his school by having church in the house. We have church only every sunday we think it is no harm in having it in the school house. I wish you would let me know wether we can have church in the house every sunday or not. We have no other place to meet here but that house.
