New Orleans, Jun 9th 1864 Lieut Wheelock Secty and Member Board of Education Sir I have the honor to request that you have the schools under the supervision of your Commission in this City, convene at 8 'o'clk on the morning of the 11th inst, and to respectfully beg that you will have the children, under the charge of your City Superintendent, or any officer that you may designate, at Congo Square at 10'o'clk, where suitable arrangements will be made, that they may partake in theon that day.
