Colonel,     You will please instruct the Provost Marshals of the several Parishes to see that the teachers of colored schools have proper accommodations as to Board and Residence.

This should be done at the expense of the Parish, and unless the people of the Parishes make such arrangements as may be necessary to accomplish this object you will assess the cost of the people upon the property and collect the sum without delay. 

This order is imperative.
