Lt. C. M. Wheelock,

Sir,

Miss Hall is sick today and feels worn out with the arduous duties of the school room.  She has not been well since she wrote you of her illness.  She thinks if the board will grant a vacation of two weeks in the school it will be better for the Teacher-school.  Also, by that time she will I hope be able to resume her duties.  I know she has worked too hard.  She has a very severe fever today.  I trust you will grant this request & please answer immediately.  I am anxious to see her mind relieved
