Sir, Please assign to the use of the Board of Education for Freedmen for school purposes, the three upper-end rooms of the one-story house containing 12 rooms on the St, Britton Place, adjacent to Masons [['Pl's?]], Jefferson Parish. Said rooms are now vacant (with the exception of the school furniture of the Board). The cypress shanty on Masons [[Pl's?]] is unfit for the continuance of the school during the winter, and unless said rooms can be had, the school must be suspended or a new house built.
