Than I should be willing to pay for the whole property, and I am inclined to think more than it could be sold for today. It appears to me the amount claimed is three times as great as it should be.
The building was turned over to us on the 23rd of last July. Col. Purdue was then Provost Marshall, but as he left this place some time since, I have not been able to learn particulars quite as fully as I might have done could I have seen him.
