Dear Edward:

It was indeed thoughtful of you to have sent me the clippings. Mr. Seligman had mentioned running into you in Cleveland but could not recall your name - now the whole thing is revealed. Also thanks for the notebook. You are gradually building up a reputation. That is the way it should be done - locally at first, and by submitting to shows such as the one in Birmingham - then from New York.

I'll return your note book in a day or two, and shall then include the slides and viewer of which I have, I'm sorry, deprived you for so long.
