DEAR MRS. PARKER

Just imagine me in an exhibition with Winsler Hommer - Eastman Jonston and Willian Sidney Mount! And I have you to thank - not to mention Burchfield, Gnathhley, with whom I once studied, and my Gertrude Rogers. It is not [[strikethrough]] recogni [[/strikethrough]] recognition I want as you sujest [[suggest]] in you [[your]] letter befor [[before]] last as I would be content just to be away some where by my self painting but I realize that recognition is nessary [[necessary]] for sales. And this painting is becoming expencive [[expensive]]. With me it is all very simple I would paint for pleasure and sell for money. I only wish I could become more professional - if you know what I mean. 
I had already sent Mr. Kirsch a letter in answer to his saying he
