HELICOPTER AIR SERVICE PROGRAM 481

supports the position adopted by the Civil Aeronautics Board in its show-cause order in docket 15683. The moneys thus far expended to Congress for development and experiment of Los Angeles Airways should not at this stage be jeopardized when success is in sight. Favorable consideration by your committee will have a far-reaching effect upon the future development of this short-haul air market.
