Dear Doris

The snowstorm we have had during the night has just cleared off this morning & now its bright sun shine around 36°. we didnt have only about four inches of very light snow, very easy to sweep. I am looking for the oil man today to fill up our tank. Murphy tells us he will always look out for his regular customers first we shant have to feel worried he turns away lots of people he says, so to look out for his regular customers first. our two coal stoves only heat the down stairs rooms. they are fine for them. She is going to have a few womin here to entertain just enough for one table of cards, so today she is preparing for them out of her own expense. while down town yesterday she got things, one of her friend is Florence Hickey at whose house she went for a card party. she lets rooms since Albert her husband died. her sister married Dwight Burnes they both died.

She mailed your package yesterday, so now its on its way. I found a draw string for the pants, I like better. wished I had found it before. she did up the pajamas but I managed to tuck it in & if you want to, you can change the draw string by sewing it to the draw string before you draw it out if you havn't any large eyed tape needle do as you see fit. I am not going to use them.
