Stoughton Dec 31st 1947 Dear Doris We are having a very cold weather it is pleasant today but we are told by radio another storm is expected a very hard winter. we are lucky we dont have to go out I sift my ashes down in the cellar, as the N East side of the house is all snow we cant open our back door.
