Dear Doris

This is a sunny day but cold. down to 12° early this morning. there was a light flurry of snow around seven o'clock last night. I went out side to bring a small basket of wood about 5 for I felt the snow was coming & it came two hours after. this morning the ground was white. the sun has about melted it it cant go any too quick to suit me. she has just gone to church. Frank Reynolds has just driven his car here he spent his Thanksgiving with his sister she is trying to make a match between that widow lady where they spent their holiday it would be a good thing now his mother is gone he is a different little thing they say. no one will suite him as well as that little hot thing Norma who still makes a fool of him. she ought to be thankfull to the good man who married her, when she got in a family way. he is much too good for her everybody says.

That bundle arrived here Friday afternoon I shall probably commence on it the first of the week. I hope your shoulder is better by now, although I dont believe in Osteopathes they are the cause of more trouble. you are too ambitious. look out for your self more. think of Granma how she was laid up for the rest of her life after Pa was born. one cant do only about so much
