Dear Doris. I am still enjoying the beautiful weather sitting out the porch & looking in the warm sunshine. I feel glad that you can go around to the beach. you did not have much vacation all the time you were here. the ground around us is covered with leaves & little Jimmie is raking them out into the road where I hope they will blow away down the street. it came over the radio today that any body burning paper, leaves, or any thing in the incinerator; without a permit were liable to a heavy fine. we havent [[haven't]] had any rain here for 21 days a fire is liable; the ground is so dry  love Ma
