Dear Doris 

Another mild & sunny day. it beats all how much we can enjoy this nice weather. I only wish we might have a little moisture there are so many leaves on the ground I am afraid of fires.

Anna Lamb has gone home from the hospital. Mr Kilpatrick the minister from the Episcopal church called on us yesterday & he said she was not right in her mind, a little off. she is on the town & has gone home put an advertisement in the paper for a woman to come there to work for her. no one will answer it for she is an awful person to get along with. Mrs Puck stayed there & every one
wondered how she put up with her as she did. I hope she gets some one she wants the [[?]] but
they wouldnt [[wouldn't]] go there. I think that bedstead you paid for you will be lucky if you get it.

I am sending back the pictures in this letter they were good, I enjoyed looking at them. Doris may be out this week end if she doesnt [[doesn't]] have too many engagements on hand. I don't look
