Dear Doris. We are having nice sunny days just right for comfort. A thunder shower was predicted for last night, but it must have gone around. there was lots of static on the radio, during the evening, from the showers that went around, but I didn't think it seemed humid enough for one to mature. so went to bed early. She was at Mrs Calders the night before, so I had to lie awake until she returned & them made it up last night.
Thanks for the stamped envelope you was good in sending me, I will use it today. she got me fiften envelopes when she was downtown Friday for 5 cents. so now I have a plenty. The little Jimmie over at the next house, has just straddled a three yard pole & is out in the street, he is a little rogue & goes half naked, as they all do most of the time. they are a noisy little family & its lucky I am deaf, for they do not annoy me. Mrs Jolbot who bought the George Ping house. shuts up her house & goes away after she does her house work & dont come home till night. the children dont suit many of the neighbours, because they go without clothes. & are very dirty. the mother is clean & has a big washing on the line every day. her clothes are as white as snow. she has a washing machine. the poor thing cant do every thing in her condition. & guess she is lucky that things dont bother her. are think in Florida they go dressed like this. they dont wear many clothes on account of the heat.
