was ordering it he was much relieved when we told him we had a plenty on hand and he need not hurry but he said that he would let us know when he was going to send it up.

I hope this storm clears today and we can see the sun once more for its so lonesome such weather. the sun does a great deal towards warming up. I am sitting up in the front chamber writing the letter & wondering if you are having decent weather down there. I suppose Doris is enjoying her stay with home folks & glad to get a small job down there. my rosebushes are bent down from rain & winds, & picked little roses from the sweet brier rose bush. they are very fragrant & scent the room. I was glad that I had not put my house plants out under the bush, this cold spell would have done them no good. but soon I shall before you assure my serene sisters rose bush is full of blossoms but bent down almost to the ground, it should be tied up to a stake for support, for its a handsome rose & took it from the Bruce place when Pa bought the house. we are lucky to have so many rosebushes. my white & pink bushes are in bloom. the white rose bush isn't as full of rosebuds as it generally is, owing to so much rainy weather. this will do & I will say good bye. Love Ma
