Dear Doris

This is an ideal sunny cool day just right for comfort, the thermometer was up to 70 degrees outside so I took the time to wash my woolen blanket. I have slept in so far and not many nigts been uncomfortable. I have just put away my long sleeved shirts and all the rest of my winter underwear for thinner clothes. thinking we may have it warmer.

I suppose by now, you are having Doris with you and going to enjoy life while you may. up here the churches are entirtaining children. I suppose its a good thing having childrens day so to bring them closer into church. I am watching the Silvers cutting their hedge over accross the way. I remember when Gertrude Loring who lived there and owned the house set it out.
