Laura invited Mrs. Barry to go with them to the Symphange Concert. she she said the hall was packed with people & they had to sit on the floor but enjoyed every minute of it. they got home around 1/2 past eleven o'clock.
We got a roast of beef & 1/2 a pound of fresh pork enough pork for our Sunday dinner to cook after she gets home from church. its still raining & will continue all day & to night, so the radio says, its very funny weather for the midst of June. I never knew so much rain & cold weather as we have had this spring. people are lucky to get their clothes dried such days. take advantage of pleasant days. The folks in the next house wash every day & leave their clothes on the line. nothing sums to worry her. she is very neat & not well. has a young girl there about every day to care for the children. they are very good to stay on their own land & they are brought up to mind. they don't bother their neighbors $ could be a great deal worse there is nothing more to write about. hope you are not freezing. the little apple tree out in our backyard had a very few blossomed this year.
