I guess we shall have plenty of flowers this year for memorial day. although our lilac is only just budded the blossoms may come in a fortnight. the daffies have gone but the spice bush is right in its prime. also the flowering azalias & the dogwood is full of bloom our little bush is leaning out under the front windows.

I told you the family the next door had a little baby girl 7 months old, the little five year old was their only boy & he is a little tyke but they make him toe the mark just the same. 

Mrs Bruce the sons wife, came up yesterday afternoon to pay the rent & she wheeled up her little baby girl in a nice baby carriage. she is around 6 months old I think. her husbands mother isn't able to do much walking so the young one comes  Harlons wife I am looking for Perdigao to come with groceries. Mrs Barry has just gone up stairs to lie down. she has been hard at it cleaning windows & doing up curtains all day so far. that warm Wednesday the temperature went up to over 80 when our mild soured. so we had to make it into griddle cakes for dinner. I thought we should have to get ice right when the wind changed & we were freezing our fruit blossoms were out so they didnt get damaged but must have damaged them in other places. cranberries got spoilt & fruit in other parts also were touched Love Ma
