she was married by the Catholic Priest & her baby was christened by the Catholics. I guess it makes no difference to them. He is not one to earn much, they live with her family. although she is Bills brothers child but they have had her once since her parents died. she was a mere baby then & they worship her.

Doris is not out this weekend & hope she is well over her cold by now. we have been lucky not to get one here, we have had such changeable weather I hope now we can have warm weather, less rain & more sunshine. I am working slowly on the pajama tomorrow it will be ready to stitch. 

The woman over in the Toomey house on the corner, is putting out her croquet set, so guess they are not churchy folks. she has her daughters folks who live on Lincoln Street visiting there often. they didn't get along well when they lived with Helen Metcalf. they seem to enjoy life since they moved on the corner house & they are not Catholics, thanks be. most all the neighbors are Catholics.

We were lucky to get a good price of corned beef & vegetables, carrots, cabbage & a nice baked pudding, which will be our dinner. they enjoy their new minister & he preaches a sermon worth listening to. Bertha Beynoldo is visiting Frank for three or four days over the weekend, isnt [[isn't]] it nice of her? she is bringing out a widow stay there Love Ma, & sist too.
