Dear Doris

I have just received your letter the 2nd this week. It seems good for us to see the sun, we have been having winter weather so far this week & the sun does a good deal towards warming up the cold windy weather. Things are coming along & this wintry blast out of season, has done them no harm I hope.

I am here by my lonesome she has gone down town to pay the electric light bill & carry in to the library my white Oak look & is in hopes of getting another of the same kind we haven't heard from Winnies husband since he was taken away to the hospital Mary McGarvey told Mrs. Barry that she would keep her informed if anything new set in he cant last long as he is anyhow.

I have done my weeks washing taken advantage of this pleasant day, as the radio says rain tomorrow. Mr Bradner & family took Monday a stormy day to start with his family for the west they the church members are looking forward to their new minister. Mrs Bradner wont live long they say she looks dreadful.
