Dear Doris

It is cold again this morning the sun came up red in the east & the report says rain this afternoon & tonight temperature in the 40's. this strong wind blows in the cold. if this continues I am afraid things that have started may get set back around freezing by tonight.

The church people assemble in the church tonight to give the Bradnu family a good send off. a supper at 6 O'clock & each one of them money. most of the church people will be glad be rid of him & guess he knows it he is sick of Stoughton.

We have had chicken Doris was much pleased with her dinner as it had been a long time since she had eaten any chicken. She here & went up to bed slept two hours. I went back around four we were glad she liked the dinner but as she slept most of the time we didn't see much of her this time. But guess she got well rested up from her dance of the evening before. She should have some pleasure in dancing. I did when like her when young. How crazy I was to dance, also to skate. I used to scrape the snow off the ice. many is the time down on the big.
