Stoughton April 9th 1947

Dear Doris

The wind changed during the night, so today its grown colder before ever since Easter, we have been having ideal weather. I am glad you have arrived home at least guess the old cat is also glad. By this time guess Doris is in the midst of studies she may be out to Stoughton at the end of the week, hope she had good times while their with the family.

About eleven this noon two women in a car drove up to the next house so guess before long they will be moving in. Addie called up just now. I said they didn't call for the key so guess they must have been relatives from Brockton she said she expected them the coming to be the first of April.

She has just gone down town to the beauty parlor tomorrow is Chicetaubut she called up Vinnie to find out if she was going to take Richard to the movies I found they were all down sick with grip so she walked it had just started in to rain the temperature is in the 40ies. its grown much colder since yesterday.
