Mrs Mahoney has just called us up on the phone to thank us for that card Mrs Barry sent to their father Dr Brides father he had his birthday on Saint Patricks day. he is a very old man & they gave me that lovely pot of flowers on my birthday, so she got a card & we sent it over to him. they daughter is going to bring him up sometime to see me. they live down on Park Street. I used to go down there with Dr Brides when his mother was living. they worshiped him. an only son is a very good doctor, sorry when he died.

I received a postal card from Lena today. I am sending it along for you to read. she seem very much satisfied with the place she is living in I am glad she found it at last. I like her she is all alone poor thing. It was good of Beatrice Monk to take your Doris to the opera. it must have cost her a lot. she visited Lilly Dutton up here at the rest room. and she talked so loud, they had to shut all the doors and even then, they could hear every word she said. Lilly Dutton is an honored patient. She furnishes her room and finds her nurses. nobody likes over there, they are hard to get along with. old Mrs. Gebhardt is still living. she is an awful expense and will live forever. the Coleords are to be pitied we never see them. Mabel is never in the Choir and guess she doesn't go much. the last time Doris was here she was not at home so she never saw her love Ma.
