Dear Doris

Another sunny day has dawned around & 30° early this morning. We are thankful we had rain last Friday instead of a snowstorm. There seems plenty of snow alaround us, but we are lucky not to get any more. The going so far, is extremely good.

Doris is not out this week end so we had a chance to sleep Sunday morning. She gets up around 6 O'clock & afterwards theres [[there's]] not any chance to slumber. Mrs Barry is not going to church either but later on will call on Cora Brock over at the restroom where old Mrs Gebhartd is. She has had five shades & is near deaths door an awful expense why does she stand it? I hear that Laura goes there to see her every day. She is Bills mother.

I think Charlie & Lillian may come to day from Everett its so pleasant they came last week the going is so good he works daytime now & likes it much better. I think he is happier the first one: he dont have to keep his nose to the grind stone if he dont want to go to church he dont have to the other wife was very religious he wasn't used
