they dont seem to mix. for some reason its too bad.
I am up in the front chamber early writing the letter. so you may know about the cot bed I hope she sent the right one. she had a good pleasant day this week to do her washing. I carried her clothes back all dried which was good. pretty lucky so far, she has had only one stormy week end.
We are going to have a chance to have another 20 lb of sugar. we are lucky in that also. so far its been very scarce. but we have managed to use other things in cooking & guess we get along pretty well. our meat we got a half leg of lamb, with a small piece of beef steak. I never care for steak, shouldn't mind if I never saw any more. it goes against my appetite. I like lamb much better. perhaps we may get more sugar later on.
What was the matter with Helen why did she have to go to the hospital? I am sorry Amy has such a hard life. she keeps her nose to the grind stone all her waiking [[waking]] hours. its fortunate she has so good a disposition, very fun loving she took it from her father. hope her health holds out. well I must eat my breakfast now guess its waiting down stairs. love Ma
