minister & another Monson Glover who bought the Henry Crane estate. they were all acquainted with Albert & liked him very much.

We had Frank Reynolds here to our Sunday dinner. I think he enjoyed it but your Doris had hard work to entertain him while Mrs Barry got dinner. I am so deaf its hard to talk with people who speak low. so I gave it up as a bad job. he drinks water neither tea or coffee. I gave him the Sunday paper & with the aid of that, he managed to get along. guess they never take many papers!

Dr Ewing is still living. they say he looks dreadfully. his wife leaves him alone and objects to people bringing him whiskey. they are good to him. It do him a lot of good giving him food and drink just the same. his first wife was a very good woman. this wife was good to his little children, thats the reason why he married her. guess there wasn't much love lost between them. she was a dreadful spend thrift.
