FETED ON BIRTHDAY

Mrs. Lucy Holmes, 290 Walnut street, Stoughton, observed her 92d birthday anniversary Wednesday at her home where she received neighbors and other friends during the day, with a shower of cards and other souvenirs honoring her on the occasion. Mrs. Blanche Barry, her companion in the home for many years, assisted in receiving the guests, and the usual birthday cake was not forgotten. She was born in Stoughton and always made her home in her native town. After school days she married Arthur L. Holmes of this town, and their union was blest with a daughter, Dris, wife of Dr. Sydney Blake of Washington, D. C.
