Dear Doris

After a spell of bad stormy weather a few snow flurries Saturday might it cleared with gales of wind. all night it brought us zero weather & will remain cold all day Sunday. I am thankful the snow was so light a slight rain remained it in a short time + left was with the ground bare. it was so slippery Saturday morning I sifted my ashes inside. it made to see the sun once more. I am writing my letter up in the sun in the front chamber where the room is very warm & nice. I hope you havint this cold spell down there. They say Florida is cold having a spell of freezing temperature. they are not prepared for such weather in dress on houses & they say all their citrous fruit may suffer from the affects of this cold spell. They say Miss Harold Williams who went south with her husband, met with an auto accident they went to Florida early her husband has diabetes they went for his health & have plenty of money. she was one of the Reynolds family came from Canton. she was nervous to buy the land over in front of the old place to build a house she liked the location. glad I didn't sell it, as I mere liked the woman. the husband is nice.
