Dear Doris
The temperature is a little around 15° above & it will remain cold during the day with a drop to zero during to night. although it is sunny it was a gale of wind with pouring rain all night. Bill came last night he fixed our drain so we could flush our toilet but said it wouldn't last but a little while, before a new one would have to be put in, as this old one was getting soft & rusty. I don't know what we should do without him. he fixes us alright & will never charge any thing for it this time he went home early around 9 O'clock.

She has gone down to the beauty Parlor. Winnie carried her. Monday they took her over to Brockton young Edith had to go & see her doctor she has to go the Hospital to have her condition checked up till after a certain time & Mrs Barry went over there to get new shoes before they were any higher in price & pay my electric oil bills.

Well Doris went back early Sunday night. she was going to a dance I believe she said. I think she is getting more acquainted there in College & likes the life, so guess its a good thing. she will form more acquaintances with young people. the longer she stays there & guess it will be good for her the life.
