yesterday & the day before was quite mild wind South West. I think Bachie Leonard fortunate living in her old home with her children. its too bad Amy is obliged to go so far & work for her living. so far she has had a hard life. & its lucky she has her health. her cheerful disposition helps her a lot through life she was always full of fun. her father was jolly.

We have just been to dinner. a pot roast with baked potatoes. & carrots. & turnips & bread pudding for dessert. she cooked it all yesterday for today she went to church. the choir were all there & singing went off pretty well. it was not bad going down town she said. on this hill its the worst wont it seem good when it comes good going & I can go out once more. you are lucky in having good weather & can go so much. hope by now Sidney has got the best of his cold & you are over yours, if you had one.

I guess Doris is busy this week end hope she has good weather next week end as she will probably be out & hope the going may be better here, than it has been since Winter set in. I have managed to dry my clothes by hanging them on the porch then finishing their drying up by the kitchen stove. Well this is all. love Ma
