more pleasure with this wife than he ever did with the first one. we like her much better too bad Gladys doesnt guess she is harder to please.

Kimptis called us up on the telephone wanted to know your address. We haven't seen Bill Scillins for a long time when yesterday she had a nice long letter from his mother saying Bill looked eagerly for a xmas card from us & the day before he got one which pleased him very much. he has been very good to us so when he didn't show up we greatly missed his coming.

I hope you dont have our icy going. Sidney has so far to travel to his work its too bad & this going we have would inconvenience him. The thermometer this morning was in around 30° we are lucky to have good weather to dry our clothes, for most all the week has been cloudy & rainy. today is bad on account of so much wind. we find the little store very handy when we want bread or milk. we got some lifeboy soap there when Doris was here the last time. I like it & want no other. I gave Doris two cakes of toilet soap to carry back the last time she was here. hope you get time to do your letter writing now Doris has gone back you have a double dose. its warm writing here in the sun up in the front chamber love Ma
