table where I can see it all the time and it seems like you were here. I hope Doris is enjoying her visit home and is over her cold and don't have to study all the time.

Blanche Hammond is over to the Norfolk general hospital now and Mrs. Murphy said they liked her very much. I guess she found that other hospital sends its new management harder work. Theres no need of her working but guess she does it to take up her mind. Her house she sold and got good money for and she has many in her own home place, but can't take it to this country. She was born in Nova Scocia.

Those books you set take up my spare time and give me great enjoyment when there is nothing to interest me they are of coarse print and easy to read also very interesting. And they are highly appreciated.

The front chamber where I am writing my letter is quite warm with sun coming in quite bright now. I dread another snowstorm, but guess its coming on the way. I don't think there will be any mail its a holiday but there may be so will put my letter out she has just put out hers. I am glad you can go out so much and enjoy yourself. Its too cold in your house to stay there long at a time.

Tell Doris the book she got I read and she carried it down yesterday I won't have anymore to send in its too hard to climb those slippery stairs.

Love to you both Ma
