get wet. it was a clumsy job for me to do though I was here alone but managed to get it under cover just as it bugun to sprinkle. I made up my mind the next time I loaned a ladder they would be told to put it back when they got through with it. I didnt know when he brought it back. Every little job somehow these times seem an awful task. (it must be I am growing old.) I try to keep up, my will is good but something is lacking

Mrs Barry called up Frank Reynolds to tell him she wasn't going to church today too darned cold so she has been listen to a serman over the radio. she is always faithfull to her religious beliefs. Irene Swanson told her that her mother was having dizzy spells, I suppose due to her husband hitting her over the head with that axe, its a wonder it hadn't killed her, being the blunt end it didnt happen to. he had those crazy spells its lucky he died she writes to Mrs B twice a week I always like to read her letters. she is the one Sidneys mother lived with after his father died she never liked Maude & always pitied her but guess it made the mother wild after losing Walter. they were bound up in each other. & no wonder after they were seperated. she went wild.

This is all I can think of no more news. did you get a wedding announcement or card from Bert of his daughters marriage? if you did I wont send you mine the envelope is to small to hold it. he is still in Maine preaching. hope your cold is better.

Yours Ma.
