Dear Doris Your letter came early this morning. we are having a sunny but cold day around 20° anoth snow flurry came Tuesday night. our milk comes at the front door, as there is only one path. was glad Doris got there early & you could be there at the train to meet her. had [[strikethrough]] acard [[/strikethrough]] card from Dolores yesterday. your bundle is waiting there in the front hall till xmas. I found another slip of yours behind the bureau you have enough now I think till you come home. I have $24. left now. Hazel will pay rent the last of the month.
