to leave us for Xmas & a pretty card for the holiday.

About 1/2 past eleven it begun to snow it is still at it the ground is white after two hours & it may turn into rain or may be a big snow storm & we may have to shovel it out by morning I hate it.

We have just been to dinner fried fish (frozen) mashed potato & tomato sauce. squash pie for desert. good enough for any one. hope you party was a success. What time did Doris get there? last night I suppose rather late. I hate riding so long a time on the train. The little dog is just running home through the snow he has been out all day. its snowing hard. it bids fair to be a big snow storm.

Mabel was at church to day she told what she gave Doris for her Xmas present. a pair of Nilon Stockins. I was pleased with the present she gave me. I am eating them every day. At this rate they will go before you know it. I guess we are in for a white Xmas too bad.

The sermon to day she said made her cry. she wishes she wasn't so emotional it was very good he is an excellent preacher but Mr Bradner was more of a christian if he wasn't so much of a talker. I liked him much better, as a man who practiced what he preached. this is all hope you have a joyous Xmas all of you. love Ma.
