Dear Doris

I have just received your letter & will write you a few lines. I guess by now you must have got the bundle that I sent middle of last week. it is not cold and weather is very sunny we have had two mild days since our rain Sunday night. The radio says very cold by tonight, it will go down to freezing & near zero they predicted. hope the snow stays off. We hear that Maude has gone through all her money & is now on the town. The Sopers are advertizeing it, they are good at such things. hope you are not freezing down there. we are not here yet.
love Ma
